The Woot and Wye Show

NFL in Australia Update: Hawaii Camp Special

June 24, 2016

Wye is joined by Fox Sports Laurie Horesh as they recap all the happenings involving the Australians in the NFL since a very eventful and successful NFL Draft. They talk about Adam Gotsis' situation, Jarryd Hayne's retirement and the punting battle involving Lachlan Edwards and Tom Hackett.

Wye then plays his interviews with University of Hawaii Head Coach Nick Rolovich and University of Hawaii Offensive Line Coach Chris Naeole at their satellite camp in Sydney. The coaches talk about the camps they are holding down under to find talent and share their enthusiasm to kick off the College Football Season in Sydney with the Sydney Cup.

UNSW Head Coach and Director of Bring It On Sports Paul Manera joins the show to talk about the growth of Gridiron in Australia over the last 18 months and what needs to be done to ensure that growth isn't put to waste. Manera also sheds some light on the Hawaii Camps as a former UH alumni and the work that Bring It On Sports is doing to #GrowTheGame
